I am old enough to be officially retired. Partially disabled and early SS. I've had a few close calls in life and lost a close family friend and my own dad due to slip and fall accidents, all of which lead me to a career in safety and accident prevention.
Now that I'm retired, I want to continue sharing safety information where it is most often ignored until it is too late. One of my former employers blurted out something at a company meeting that has always bothered me. "It is a good thing low income people don't know about this. They can die blissfully ignorant. We can't waste our time even educating them since they can't afford the remedy."
Of course, no sales meant no commissions. That statement has bugged me ever since, and is the main reason I decided to do what I could to share this with as many lower income people as possible at no cost.
I am targeting Mobile Home Parks because government statistics say that 70% of mobile home park residents are among those at the lowest income levels, That is why I included a free Home Safety Seminar Page to help you understand safety issues that you can address on your own at little to no cost.
Although not part of my work experience, I added safety tips about many other safety issues that are specific to mobile homes and continue the research for more topics. Hope this added section will help even more low income people . Stay well and take good care of yourself.
